SETTING THE TIMER
Tamagotchi Angel’s Timer needs to be adjusted to Earth Time. NOTE: The buttons are identified by letters. From left to right: A (Select), B (Execute or Switch To Timer) & C (Cancel) Press the B button to set the timer. By pressing the A button, the hours will increase. By pressing the B buttons, the minutes will increase. Select the C button to lock in and set the time. Return to the main screen by pressing the B button again. After about 5 minutes, your Tamagotchi Angel will hatch!!
Ding, Ding! Success!
It will take about 5 minutes for your Tamagotchi Angel to descend from its flying craft. Then your Tamagotchi Angel will join you on Earth! The spirit is with you!
NOTE: During this period, you will only be able to access the Timer and Reset Button functions. REMEMBER: Your Tamagotchi Angel will not come to Earth if you do not set the Timer.
When your Tamagotchi Angel arrives, it beeps to make sure you’re paying attention.
AFTER TAMAGOTCHI ANGEL HATCHES
When Tamagotchi Angel starts beeping, please check the icons to see if its needs anything. Press buttons.. 'A' to scroll through the icons, 'B' to select, 'C' to cancel an icon! When you need some help understanding what Tamagotchi Angel needs, check the Health Meter icon. (To see how to take care of your Tamagotchi Angel, see 'Health Meter' section.)
CARING FOR YOUR TAMAGOTCHI ANGEL
(Explanation of the icons)
When your Tamagotchi returns home, you will not be able to select any of the icons. If you would like to cancel the icon that you have selected, press the C button. If you are not to the main screen, press the C button again.
HEALTH METER
Scroll through the icons with Button A and select the Health Meter icon with Button B to see the current status of your Tamagotchi Angel. Press the A or B buttons to check Age & Angel Power, Good Deeds Meter, Hunger Factor and Happiness Factor. [Note: I noticed that even when the instructions call it 'happiness factor' on the actual Tama Angel it says 'Effort' instead of Happiness.. wonder why that is? -Kat]
Age & Angel Power: Reveals Tamagotchi Angel’s relative age (One day of our time is one year to Tamagotchi Angel) and Angel Power. Feed Tamagotchi Angel pie and candy to increase its power. Be careful not to feed Tamagotchi Angel too much, though.
Good Deed Meter: Remember to let Tamagotchi Angel know you appreciate it’s good deeds. A filled meter means you’re a good care taker. An empty Meter means you need to pay more attention to your Tamagotchi Angel.
Hunger Factor: Hearts that are not darkened (Empty Hearts) mean Tamagotchi Angel wants to eat more pie and candy. If all hearts are full, Tamagotchi Angel will shake its head to tell you 'e;No more!'e;
Happiness Factor: Empty hearts mean Tamagotchi Angel wants to play and win more games. Filled hearts means its content.
FOOD
Press Buttons A repeatedly until you have highlighted the feeding icon.
Press Button B to see the choice of Pie and Candy
Press button A to toggle between the choice of Pie and Candy
Press button B to feed your Tamagotchi Angel. Yum! WATCH OUT! Beware of the bat that descends to steal Tamagotchi Angel’s candy. It’s up to you to protect the candy by gently tapping on the screen to scare it away. If you don’t scare the bat away, it will steal Tamagotchi Angel’s candy and make your angel sad.
NOTE: Don’t give your Tamagotchi too much candy or it will get sick.
PLAY TIME
Press button A repeatedly until you have highlighted the Play Time icon.
Press Buttons B to start the Shooting Stars Game.
Press button A to make Tamagotchi Angel fly over the shooting star.
Press button C to end the game.
NOTE: If Tamagotchi Angel jumps over all 5 stars, it gets 2 points on its Happiness Meter. If it jumps over 3 stars, it wins 1 point.
FLUSH
If your Tamagotchi Angel makes an angelic mess, scroll though the icons by pressing A to the bathroom icon and press B.
PRAISE
Sometimes Tamagotchi Angel beeps at you just for attention, be sure to praise it. The attention icon will appear.
Press button A repeatedly until you have highlighted the Praise icon.
Press button B to set Tamagotchi Angel know that you appreciate its good deed.
MEDICINE
Press button A repeatedly until you have highlighted the Medicine icon.
Press button B to administer the medicine.
If Tamagotchi Angel is still sick after the first dose of medicine, press Button B again to administer another dose.
NOTE: Tamagotchi Angel will not like the medication very much, but it’s the only way to make it feel better.
LIGHT
Press button A repeatedly until you have highlighted the light icon.
Press button A to toggle between Light on And Light Off.
Press button B to apply the selected light setting.
Press button C to return to the Main Screen.
NOTE: Remember to always turn off the light when Tamagotchi Angel goes to bed at night or is napping. This ensures a peaceful sleep, which makes Tamagotchi Angel very happy in the morning!
ATTENTION
When your Tamagotchi Angel wants attention, make sure that you give it attention while the attention icon is highlighted.
STROLL
Occasionaly, your Tamagotchi Angel will need to take a stroll and it will disappear from your screen [on the Japanese version a door will appear -Kat]. But don’t be alarmed, by selecting the B button when the Praise icon is lit and then gently tapping your screen, your Tamagotchi Angel will reappear!

When Tamagotchi Angel completes its work on Earth, it will return to its Celestial Virtual Home. When your Tamagotchi Angel completes its journey, a new Tamagotchi Angel can be called. If you’d like to raise another Tamagotchi Angel, simply follow this sequence:
Press the A and C buttons simultaneously or
Press the recessed Reset Button on the back of the casing by using a pointed object, like a ballpoint pen or a bent paper clip. NOTE: Do not apply too much pressure on the Reset Button.
Reset the Timer, as described in the Setting The Timer instruction area.
Now you are ready to raise your next Tamagotchi Angel!
A new Tamagotchi Angel will descend to Earth in about 5 minutes!
WHEN TO RESET
(To reset, see 'Setting The Timer' section.)
When you first start your Tamagotchi Angel.
When you change the batteries.
When your Tamagotchi Angel is not working properly.
When none of the functions are working.
When the screen looks strange.
When you would like to raise a new Tamagotchi Angel.
REMEMBER: Do not press the reset button too hard with a sharp object.
Do not press the reset button other then the times indicated above. (It is extremely sensitive.)
TIMER
TO SEE THE TIMER When the main screen is visible, and there are no icons lit, press the B button and bring up the timer screen. Press B again to return to the main screen.
SOUND
When you are at the main screen, press the A and C buttons simultaneously, then you will hear a beep to confirm the sound is off. Press the same buttons again to turn the sound back on.
WHEN YOU NEED TO RESET THE TIMER Press the B button to show the timer. Then press the A and C buttons at the same time to see the timer reset screen. Please see 'Setting The Timer' section to restart the timer.
The timer can’t be reset if your Tamagotchi Angel has gone back home.
BATTERIES
Replace the batteries if the screen becomes dim or weak.
Loosen and remove the two battery cover screws.
Remove the battery cover and the batteries.
Insert 2 new LR44 batteries. make sure to match the positive (+) and negative (-) signs properly. NOTE: Be sure to use both new batteries, do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard or rechargeable batteries. Dispose of used batteries properly.
Replace the battery cover and tighten the screws into place.
Press the reset switch on the back of the toy with a pointed object.
Reset the Timer and a new Tamagotchi Angel will hatch in about 5 minutes!
CAUTION: Battery may be harmful if swallowed.
PAUSE
When you need to be away from your Tamagotchi Angel for an extended period or time, it is possible to suspend the angel-life cycle.
Press Button 'B' to bring up the timer.
Press Buttons 'A' and 'C' at the same time. The word 'SET' will appear. When Tamagotchi Angel is on the 'SET' function, the life cycle is paused.
Reset the timer to the correct time to resume play.
Press Button 'C' to return to the normal life cycle.

This is a list of the characters in the electronic virtual pet Tamagotchi.
The ones that are goodThere are four main characters. Although the fourth is not as much a main character as the first three, it is still a main character.
Boys[edit]
Mametchi[edit]
Mametchi is one of the best Tamagotchis in terms of intellect. You have to give your toy the best care to get him. He is a pale-yellow creature, most resembling a human, with dark blue ears and appears as a playable character in Mario Kart Arcade GP 2. Mametchi is also the mascot of the Tamagotchi franchise.
Kuchipatchi[edit]
Kuchipatchi is a green, fat Tamagotchi who likes to eat and sleep. He is one of the laziest Tamagotchis, but also one of the kindest. On virtual pets, he is mostly obtained with average or above-average care.
Girls[edit]
Memetchi[edit]
Memetchi is an orange Tamagotchi with sparkles in her eyes. She is very gentle, but when you are mean to her, she will point it out. She can get into arguments about fashion, as well. She is rivals with Makiko, a purple Tamagotchi who looks similar to her. Her care status often varies, but it is usually average.
Violetchi[edit]
In other languages and versions, she is known as 'Flowertchi', 'Furawatchi' or 'Leaftchi'. Violetchi is a calm Tamagotchi who is nice to everyone. She is purple, and has two flowers in her hair. The flower on the left is yellow and the one on the right is green. Violetchi and Memetchi are very close friends, they first meet by the boys' soccer ball hitting them. Her care status was formerly similar to Mametchi's, but it has now been reduced to average care.
Lovelitchi[edit]
In other languages and versions, she is known as Raburitchi, Lavulitchi, and Lovelytchi. Lovelitchi was introduced in the anime as a shy, kind, sweet girl who didn't know how to make friends, since she was bullied in the past. She is best friends with some of the other central characters, including Mametchi, Memetchi, Kuchipatchi, as well as several other characters who know of her secret double-life under her stage name, Lovelin. Lovelin is a pop star that appears alongside Gotchiman in his television show. Lovelitchi has parents, Lovepapalitchi and Lovemamalitchi, who run the TamaCafe. Uwasatchi is oblivious to the secret. However, she wants to stir gossip about Lovelin and suspects Lovelitchi knows something about her. Lovelitchi wears a blue dress with a pink collar, two blue bows, pink tights and a pink purse shaped like a heart. Like Mametchi, she is usually obtained with the best possible care.

Gozarutchi[edit]
Gozarutchi is a ninja character who is dark and secretive. He is always spying on someone. Not much is known about him. He wishes to become a Japanese ninja someday and can usually be found practicing his star throwing. In most releases, Gozarutchi is obtained with the worst possible care.
Mimitchi[edit]
She looks a lot like Mametchi but with bigger ears and she is white, not pale yellow. she is said to be related to Mametchi somehow. This character is a former main character and has been featured on all Tamagotchi versions since Plus. Mimitchi's care status is often compared to Mametchi's, as well.
Masktchi[edit]
Masktchi debuted on the Japanese Tamagotchi Connection V2. She is a social group Tamagotchi who is very shy, but very polite. She has a white body and wears a red helmet with a white vertical line down it.She also uses her helmet to hide her true looks. Like Gozarutchi, she is usually obtained with the worst possible care.
Androtchi[edit]
Sometimes called Robotchi in American releases, this robot Tamagotchi is very clumsy. Sometimes people think he's a teenager, but he has been proven not to be one. He actually has human feelings, despite resembling a robot. His care status is often bad, but not the worst.
Kizatchi[edit]
Violetchi's older brother. This Tamagotchi character cares for his younger sister Violetchi and loves to sweet talk with lady Tamagotchi Characters.
Samuraitchi[edit]
Samuraitchi is sincere and always keeps his promises. He loves Japanese comedy TV shows and films, especially sumo wrestling. You get him on the V4 by getting the Gorgeous points to a high level.
KuroMametchi[edit]
A dark version of Mametchi. He is a rock star. He is not bad, but does not like to be around other people much and is misunderstood. This character's first appearance was on the TamaSuku, and he has appeared on many versions since. KuroMametchi is also a friendly rival with Mametchi. Makiko thinks he's brave, most of the girls like him, as well as Mametchi. KuroMametchi's care status is often compared to Mametchi's.
Shimashimatchi[edit]
A tiger character who somewhat looks like a bumblebee. Shimashimatchi likes everything that is stripey due to the fact that he's stripey as well. He collects all stripey things he can get his hands on. When he's angry, his body turns red with rage. His care status is often compared to Kuchipatchi's.
Petipuchi[edit]
One of the smallest Tamagotchi characters, Petipuchi is part of the petite family and has a boy or girl form. He is very energetic and always bouncing around.
Furikotchi[edit]
This character is a clock. Most of the time he announces the time correctly, but when he's too excited, he forgets what it is. At 5:00 P.M., he walks around Tama Town announcing that it is time for the children to come home from school.
Sunnytchi[edit]
A special character from the V5 who is a sun. He likes the sun, but, surprisingly, prefers indoor activities. His favorite phrase is '3-2-1, Sunnytchi!'
Hatugatchi[edit]
A green character with a leaf on his head from the v5. His favorite foods are beans and pudding. If you have this character on your V5 and feed him sesame pudding, he will turn into KuroMametchi. He takes very good care of his leaf.
Chamametchi[edit]
Chamametchi is Mametchi's little sister. Like Mimitchi and Kuromametchi, she looks nothing like Mametchi, except for her skin color being pale yellow, as well as her ears. She has pink clothing, with a pink dress. Chamametchi's care status is often average.
Makiko[edit]
A purple light-bulb shaped character with curly pig-tails and white skirt. She is Memetchi's arch-rival. Although Makiko and Memetchi do not like each other, they are very fond of the curls in each other's hair. Makiko's care status often varies, usually either being better or worse than Memetchi, depending on the release.
Hapihapichi[edit]
A Tama-Pet of Chamametchi and Mametchi. Hapihapichi has the power to make people happy. She appears as a flying lamb.The other Tama-Pets are Bagubagutchi,Chitchi, Onsen-Moguratchi, and Hanatarezoutchi.
